Davangere city is a District Head Quarter with a population of about 5 lakhs situated in the heart of Karnataka State. Davangere is well connected both by rail  and road National Highway No.4 connecting Puna and Bangalore runs through this city.It is 265 kms away from Bangalore and 255 kms away from Belgaum and 140 kms away from Hubli. This institution is 4 kms away from the city bus stand and railway station on Shamanur Road.

THE BIET CAMPUS

The BIET campus is spread over 69 acers and offers 12 courses accomadated in 5 seperate buildings.Has the seprate canteen facility for students.The campus has seprate play grounds for cricket,foot ball and other out door games.There is a seprate indoor sports facility for both girs and boys.Recently on the occasion of silver jubilee of the institution “The Silver Line “ alumini guest house was inagurated.

The Administrative Block

The Administrative Block houses the  Principal’s chamber and office on the ground floor with the Instrumentation technology dept. The other two floors are dedicated to the Electronics and communication dept.,the Computer science dept. and the MCA dept. The Administrative Block also has the Central library,the Borrowing Section,the Digital library and the News paper Section.

The IS&E,BM and BT Block

This block has the Information and Science dept.,the Biomedical dept. and the Biotechnology dept.Each floor is dedicated to a single department.This block also has WI-FI MCA lab,Incubation center ,Internet center and the 1st year Programming labs

The Textile & Basic science block

This block has the ground floor dedicated to the Textile department and Chemistry department.This block even has the indoor sports hall with a batmitton court,tt tables and even the gym facility.The higher floors have the Physics and Mathametics department and the class rooms for the first year students.

The CME(Civil,Mechanical,Electrical) Block

This block has seperate buildings for each of the departments.The Mechanical department has separate Workshop,Carpentary and Foundry facility.The Electrical dept. has the  placement cell.

The Chemical Block

This block has the Chemical dept and the Open air theatre.The  block also has the workshop and the foundry buildings attached to this building.
