STUDENT’S COUNCIL ACTIVITIES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2006-07

Keeping In view of STUDENT COUNCIL 2006-07, the elections were held on 9th oct 2006. Class Representatives were elected in all the classes and Departments As the elections were held all the Class representatives of the various department elected the office bearers.

The Inauguration of the STUDENT COUNCIL & FRESHERS DAY and also the ETHANIC DAY was held on 28th oct 2006. at 10-30 am in the morning. The Council was Inaugurated by Dr H.C Sharath Chandra the Chairmen, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, B’lore and preceded by A.C JAYANNA Chairman, B.I.E.T College DVG. And to make it more beautiful the cultural events were also held in the evening.

The students also participated in the YOUTH FEASTIVAL which was conducted by the VTU for the year 2006-07 there were nearly 34 candidates who took part in the festival. The team was lead by Bharath Kumar B.S the Cultural Secretary of the Council.

For the current academic year the STUDENT COUNCIL is going to organize the college festival i.e. DAVANA-07’. Probably on 5th, 6th and 7th   of April 2007.
