About the department
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) was established in the year 2022 with an initial intake of 60 students, keeping in view the rapid growth and demand for skilled professionals in the field of Data Science. The department offers a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to build a strong foundation in core computer science concepts while imparting in-depth knowledge of emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Data Visualization.
The department is driven by a team of highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced faculty members. They not only impart technical knowledge but also mentor students to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and research aptitude. The faculty members are actively engaged in teaching, research, and professional development, ensuring that students are exposed to the latest advancements in Data Science and related domains. The faculty members are actively involved in research, publications, workshops, and FDPs, thereby enriching the teaching-learning process with contemporary knowledge and practical insights.
