One Week FDP on Embarking on Open Source Software in an Engineering & Research Journey, scheduled in blended mode from 19th to 24th April 2022 is jointly organized by Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere with VTU-FOSS Group, Belgavi for the enhancement of knowledge in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). Free software is considered to be an alternative to proprietary one, as it improves flexibility and saves cost.

Orientation and Parents Meet arranged for 3rd Semester students

Mr. Akash Yogeshwarra was student of our Department from 2011-15. After completion he was working with EMC Dell Bangalore and was demised on 30th Sept 2018 due to severe cardiac arrest. On his 3rd death anniversary, his parents, Mother Latha Yogeeshwara and Father Yogeeshwara donated Rs. 2 Lakh to the Institute in the memory of their son Late Mr. Akash Yogeshwara. The interest amount earned from the Rs.2 Lakh used to honor topper of the Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering every year.
